Goodreads asked B.M. Tolbert:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

B.M. Tolbert I don't get writers block. There are times when I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open, but I can't say I've ever had writers block. When I need an idea I listen to music that is in the mood of the chapter I am writing, and something always comes to me. It may be so bad that I have to change it all, but it keeps things moving along. If I am writing an action scene I listen to energetic music. If it is a chapter about someone falling in love I listen to love songs as an example.
