What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Michael Stafford It was a remarkable feeling when I saw my first Advanced Reading Copy(ARC) come through the post. I just looked at it for a while and realized I had done this. Then not long after, I answered my phone and on the other end was a major retailer asking very pertinent questions about my book and who was distributing it. If this whole process is not emotional then what would be? What a rush when you realize you have pulled this project together and people you don't even know are interested in what you have to say. I never intend to abuse that trust.
