Goodreads asked Annabel Frazer:

How do you get inspired to write?

Annabel Frazer Non-stop. The difficulty is to stop getting inspired by different ideas. Novels take a long time to write - you have to pick one idea and stick to it. This reminds me of one of my favourite writing quotations, which is from Agatha Christie's Mrs Oliver, a scatterbrained but successful crime novelist: "Oh, I can always think of things. That's not the difficulty. The problem is that one thinks of too many things and has to give some of them up and that is rather agony."
