Hello! My friend sent me a copy of P.S. I Like You for my birthday last month, and I've read several of your books since then. I have loved them all so much! I just finished On the Fence, and was wondering if you related at all to Charlie. I also have three brothers, and am the only girl, and I felt you did a great job showing an honest relationship between the siblings. Did you grow up in a similar situation too?

Aw. Thanks so much! I'm glad it felt authentic and that you could relate. I didn't grow up with only brothers, but I had two brothers and two sisters and I was somewhat a "tom-boy". So I did relate to Charlie a bit. I wasn't as into playing sports as she is, but I love watching them for sure. :) So happy you have been enjoying my books.
