Goodreads asked Susan Wilkins:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Susan Wilkins Writing is much like any other job – sometimes it goes well and you're in the zone. But other times you feel like you're pushing a boulder uphill. Before becoming a crime novelist I was a television scriptwriter for many years. This meant working to tight deadlines much of the time. It's about discipline and hard work. So writer's block? Well, I just take a short break, make a cup of tea and then get on with it!
