What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

K.L. Murphy If I were writing a cozy mystery, I would include the mystery of the missing blender. Returning home from a trip, I found that our blender was gone. Although my kids and various aunts/uncles were here during that time, no one could explain how it disappeared. A few weeks later, my sister-in-law said she had taken it because she thought it was hers???? (We both had old and dated blenders!) Oddly, she never thought to mention that she'd taken it although it sat right on the counter and was used almost every day. I didn't mind as I bought a much better blender before the mystery was solved. In the meantime, I had quizzed everyone and it became a fun question. "Who has the blender?" I wonder...could a blender be a blunt force object used in a "mixing" murder? Hmmm....
