Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Iris St. Clair The idea for Louder Than Words was ripped from my local headlines. I learned a teacher at my son's high school had been arrested for having a sexual relationship with a student. He would have been my son's teacher as part of the Science, Math and Technology magnet program. The man's wife also worked at the school. They had several children, too. Yikes!

Put a lonely girl with severe trust issues into the path of a predatory teacher and test her to see whether she'll tell or not. Throw in the boy of her dreams to also challenge her inability to open up...and there you have it!
