Well, one mystery was actually written and it's entitled Deaf, Dumb, Blind & Stupid. The main character, Michael Anderson, is not only an abused child, but he also lives with Aspergers Syndrome (a lower grade of Autism). It's evident as he was prescribed Ritalin in 6th grade after getting suspended for an act that he was acting out in school. This is true of my real life. Also, I was never officially diagnosed with Aspergers until 2 years after writing the book (and the book was written in 2012). So, this book is very personal to me.
A lot of people didn't know this about me during my adolescence, so I was considered the goofy and immature child, yet gifted in some areas of my life. To many, I was the one person no one wanted to be seen with, but to others, I was appreciated as being a good friend who had feelings.

When you look back on that period of your life in high school, have you ever thought how maybe you were as big, if not bigger, a blessing to your classmate as well? Writing is such a beautiful gift in itself. The written word has power, and when combined with a heart that needs to sing, there is nothing more pure or amazing.
