What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Mari Collier it was just after WWII and my oldest brother and finance would be married the next week. We had had a picnic and were lazing inside on the huge double bed in the bedroom; my oldest brother, his finance, my youngest brother and myself. My favorite hair clip of a red rose and pearl fell out and onto the floor. I went down onto the floor and couldn't find it. Then everyone was on the floor, my older brother searched under the bed, my sister-in-law-to-be tore the bed apart (and remade it), but the clip was never found. It had been swallowed by a black hole.
