My great great grandfather traveled west, leaving a wife and some children behind. He started a new life, changed his name, Re-married and had several children with his new wife. The why's are unknown. Did he fall in love with this other woman before or after he went west? Did he have some sort of falling out with his wife or extended family causing him to flee? I don't know.
