How do you get inspired to write?

Erik Henry Vick Most of the time, I can't wait to get started. There are days, however, when I must self-immolate to get going. Sometimes I have to pay a man to chase me around the yard with a stick. Mostly, I just sit down and start and let the inspiration worry about itself.
