I read by your side and fell in love with Dax and all the characters...but especially Dax. :) This was an amazing story and I read it all in one day! I was wondering who you used as a publisher because I am actually starting to write my own book and was wondering how you send it to a publisher and all that?

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the book and Dax. My publisher for By Your Side is Harper Teen. In order to publish with Harper, you need to find an agent first. So, once you finish your book, and do your best job editing it and getting people to read it and tell you how to make it the best it can be, then you search for an agent. It's been a while since I've had to do that but when I was looking, I found a website called Querytracker.net very helpful. It lists agents and their contact info and what kind of stories they're looking for. There is also a community of other writers there also looking for agents. So, you send off a one page email to agents and you hope for the best. :) Then your agent helps you find a publishing house. This is just one of the ways you can get your book out in the world. There are other ways too. Self-publishing, small publishers, etc that don't require an agent. You need to research and figure out what way seems right and best for you. Good luck!

I love how you write your books and I promise I will read all of them that I can get my hands on. You're the reason why I started to read YA books. Will there ever be a sequel to the Distant Between Us? I loved how you added some of the characters from that book to On The Fence. So clever.
