Goodreads asked David R. Torres:

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

David R. Torres I have trouble figuring out what to eat in the morning. This is a very difficult question, indeed. Currently one comes to mind. There's a girl in my environmental geology class (I hate upper division GE courses). She's beautiful. Not like a model, but she has a sweet face and kind eyes that interest me. She's silent and always keeps to herself. I haven't even heard her talk. She's also ridiculously smart. For both of the midterms we'd taken thus far in the semester, she earned a perfect 60/60 score. The class isn't hard, but she didn't even look at her grade when she got it back. She just shoved it in her notebook and moved on. I've tried to talk to her once. I mean, she's REALLY cute, so I introduced myself and the whole conversation died pretty much instantly. I suck at flirting, mind you, but I didn't even get that far. I didn't get a salty vibe from her or anything. She was more hidden and reserved almost as though she prefers to be alone. And I want to know why. I'm really interested in her and I don't know why either.
