I think another writer said it best (though I don't remember who it was!): I get to play with my imaginary friends all day! It's so much fun to create characters--the good, the bad, and the quirky--and infuse them with different traits. I love to watch my characters grow with each new installment of the series. And it's especially fun to catch the bad guys and put them in prison where they belong!
