Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Michael McGovern It started when I dropped out of school. People had a lot of opinions about the kind of person that I was, and those opinions did not match up with reality. I remember thinking to myself that if all the things that people said about me were true, then I would be a truly horrible person, capable of vile things. So, I devised a character that was a caricature of all the negative expectations people had for me, and that is how Aaron Walsh was born. Morbid Thoughts is a novel born out of the rage of my teenage years and written in my adult years.
