Jen Doyle Hello, Carolyn! Thank you SO MUCH for reading and loving the series.

Courtney had a miscarriage as a result of the car accident that happened (prior to the opening of book 1). It is mentioned a couple of times in Calling It, although there isn't a huge amount of detail about it. (It was actually treated much more in depth in the first few drafts, but unfortunately those pieces needed to be cut for length.)
