Do you enjoy writing a book from a series or more from a stand alone story?

Fern Michaels To be honest, both. Sometimes I get so into the characters in a series and have plot lines floating through my head. Then the time comes when I need a break from these "friends" and go off into a new path of developing a standalone character with a fresh storyline.
