I just started your book and am excited to learn more about Bridgman. You capture her perspective and the Doctor's assumptions with great finesse. Q: Julia expresses concern about her family's finances now that her father has died, but then she walks down the wedding aisle "on the arm of her father" - is this a stepfather?
