It's funny, when I began my story, I didn't intend for it to be a series, but it just kept going and going. I kept finding more stories to tell and I found the characters really coming to life. I just didn't see it ending just yet.
I also have a couple stand alones and I love them. I don't know which I prefer, but I will say, writing such a long series has become like a soap opera. I truly feel connected to these characters.
