I first want to thank you for writing this amazing book and for sharing the stories of these women. It is so interesting (deeply and intensely) to me to read their different perspectives and to see how their lives are impacted by this war. On your website, I read about Caroline, but I am seeing it mentioned that two of the characters are actual people. Is this true? Who is the other one? Incredible book!
