Hi Michael, would you be so kind to advise me if it is better to start with the Riyria Revelations or the Riyria Chronicles? Regards. Christophe

I'll certainly do my best ;-)
First you should know the books CAN be read in either order. I know some like chronological so I made the Chronicles spoiler free...but that being said, I think that reading in publication order makes the experience just a bit better...because you'll be "in on some stuff" when reading Chronicles. I'm not talking about big plot points, just little winks and nods for "those in the know." So for that reason I say start with Theft of Swords.
That being said, I've had others read in chronological order that insist that is the BEST way...and I'm glad to discover that I accomplished my goal of allowing for both scenarios. If you REALLY hate reading books out of chronological order then go with The Crown Tower, but if I had my druthers I'd say start with Theft of Swords.
Thanks for asking!

It seems you succeeded to retain many readers with your good stories and nice level of interaction on the social networks. With such a fan base, I wondered if you are worried before releasing a new book. Are you confident, knowing it will be a (small or big) success for sure, or do you close your eyes, hoping someone will maybe like it?

I Just stumbled upon your name from my kindle app after finishing the first Novel ( "The Name of The Wind" ) I had read when I decided to pick up reading again. This was to help aprk my childs instreset in reading. Your world looks interesting. I was wondering if I should read the books in chronological or publish date order. My gut says publish date. Which would be the best order to read the series?
