Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

M.E. Royce When I was little, my friends and I would concoct fantastical tales of magik and danger where we were the characters and my backyard was the world. It wasn't hard to find inspiration because of the landscape of my valley and the endless adventures we embarked upon. During my freshman year of high school, I decided to start writing down the characters and plots until I had an entire novel to fill out.
