I loved your book The Good Wife of Bath. It was like watching a modern woman struggling through life in the Middle Ages. I could see myself in Eleanor's shoes. When I checked Audible today to download another book to listen to, I was excited to see you had a new book available. Thanks for the notes at the end of your books. So informative. Do you have more books planned set in the Middle Ages?

Hi there! So glad you enjoyed Good Wife - thank you so much for telling me. I think there’s a few of my books on Audible now, all of which are set in slightly different periods (Middle Ages, Renaissance, Restoration era, Scotland - and I am currently working on one set in Victorian times). My book, The Brewer’s Tale (Called The Lady Brewer of London in the USA) is set in the Middle Ages and, in fact, Eleanor/Alyson is a main character in that book as well. She’s not THE main character, but does come into the book halfway through and, in typical Alyson fashion, takes a lead role :) If you want to find out what happens to her beyond the pages of Good Wife, then that novel will tell you! And thank you too for your comments re the Author’s Notes. I always enjoy reading them in other writers’ books as well. It’s lovely to know they’re appreciated. Take care and happy reading! Warmest wishes, Karen

Hi Karen, I've read The Chocolate Maker's Wife, The Brewers Tale and The Locksmith's Daughter (LOVED them all) - huge fan. Have I now read all of your historical fiction, non-SCI-FI? The others in your list look a little SCI-FI? Any plans for another historical fiction?

Karen, just want to congratulate you on The Chocolate Maker's Wife - I'm an avid reader and have to say this is one of my all-time favourite books. Would make such a good movie! Definitely going to investigate some of your other period novels - this one won't get a sequel by any chance?
