Goodreads asked Key Barrett:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Key Barrett I come up with a crazy title for a book. Then I backfill in the basic story. But when in doubt I write, even if the writing is no good. It will come back around to good and you just cut out the bad. The best thing you can learn to do as a writer is be unafraid to axe bad writing or good writing that doesn't fit the story.
