Sit down and write. Don't worry about publishers or marketing or query letters or any of those things that will drag you down after you publish your first novel. Just write. Write every single day even if you think you're spewing crap. The other day, a new writer asked me what font size she should be using. If you're worried about font size instead of your plot holes or your character arc, you have a problem. Just write.
