Hi Bobby, I wish I had a more coherent answer for you, but to be honest it changes with every project. I can't even give you a general overview unless I make something up, and I don't want to mislead you by offering a false model. If it's any help, it took me 14 years and at least 7 failed attempts to get my first novel, The Fool's Tale, completed - so don't give up.
