Goodreads asked Victoria Hamilton:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Victoria Hamilton It's funny, but the idea for Leave It To Cleaver came from a simple passing comment by a friend about someone she once knew who knitted identical sweaters for several people. That added on to a book idea I already had for my Vintage Kitchen Mysteries about a long-ago mystery from Queensville, two teenage girls missing at the same time. It's funny how it works, but ideas definitely float in the ether, for me, and then attach themselves to a particular book idea, and it goes on from there! Of course, that's when the real work starts!
