Out of all the historical figures you've researched so far, who has been your favorite - or at least the one who intrigued you the most - so far? And why?

Kate Quinn Emperor Hadrian is probably the most intriguing, if not the most likable. He was so full of contradictions; trying to pin him down was like to grab a handful of water. Definitely frustrating at times, but wonderfully complex!

I read The Alice Network this week and loved it! (Laughed, cried, hated Rene!) and that got me to go back and reread your Rome series. I just finished Daughters and am on Mistress now, I love seeing the cameos from Daughters and just wondered if you already had that book in mind while writing Mistress, or if you used the mentions in Mistress and fleshed them out for Daughters? Either way, sooooo good!
