I stumbled upon your books by chance. I was searching the Kindle Lenders Library and one of your books was recommended. I have now become hooked and have read (and re-read) many of your books. I am now the library media specialist for a K-12 school library in Ohio. I am thrilled to finally introduce your books to our teen readers. I love that your books are age-appropriate for a school. I truly LOVE them?

Well, then let's hear it for the Kindle Lending Library! Great to hear that you discovered my books and are passing them along. When I saw K-12, I wondered what I had that could fit. But then you mentioned teen readers. Most were not really written for kids that young, but so long as you are reading them first to judge suitability, I'm all for it! Thank you for letting me know.

I have read Take Me With You and I am almost done with When I Found You. Both books are about men who are NOT biological fathers but are more fatherly and wise and wonderful than their "son's" real dads. Do you have a model for these empathetic characters? Both August Schroeder and Nathan McCann are men I truly admire.

Many authors who write so many books tend to get sloppy and lose their spark. How do you keep your writing fresh? I have reviewed your last two books and have enjoyed them. I find them to be fast reads but there always seems to be a lesson learned from the book. I found Bea to be an exception character.

Hello, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed both characters (Allie, Bea) in same book. (Of course, Phyllis too was impressive.) I gave it 5 stars but May I ask, having some familiarity with the juvenile system if you researched that possibility that a child such as Allie might actually be placed there having committed no crime? I hadn't heard of it being used as temporary foster care so was curious.
