What interested you about writing? how did you overcome M.E so bravely? it would be nice if you answered these questions!

Hi Inaiha
Thank you so much for getting in touch, and I'm happy to answer your questions. I have always loved mysteries, in any form, and as my partner is a retired police officer, (with a Queen's commendation for bravery, no less) it seemed right to take to a life of crime! Thrillers are a wonderful form of escapism. for both reader and writer, and I love telling stories that carry people along and can't wait to turn another page.
I have always loved writing, I have recently uncovered some short stories that I had written as a child, so I guess it was inevitable that one day I would write a book.
I suffered from ME for many years, and they are times that I don't care to remember in great detail. It is such a debilitating, misunderstood and underestimated illness. I was very lucky to meet certain people at certain times, who all managed to help me in one way or another, but the main thing I did, on their suggestion, was to give up a very stressful and demanding job. It was complementary rather than mainstream medicine that finally helped me, plus a lot of will power!
Hope that helps, and do contact me again if you need any more information. I am touched that you should consider me for your project, and I'd love to read it! My email is on my website If you should ever want to get in contact.
Kindest regards and good luck with your work.

Thank you so much for this response. I have been thinking so much about your authors note about how blended genre wasn't a thing at the time you were writing ... and that makes me sad because it's very much a thing now and I'm glad that Ellie can find an audience at this point in time. I really will keep my fingers crossed that you might enthrall us with something new in this genre. I can hope right? ♥ Thank you!
