Hey there, just finished reading your book Fluency and I wanted to say I really liked it. I was curious if you were influenced by Farscape because when reading about Ei'brai and his connection to the ship I immediately thought Moira and Pilot. Anyways, keep up the good work!

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I am a HUGE Farscape fan. HUGE.
However, was I consciously thinking of Moya and Pilot? Nope. Is it possible that a subconscious connection was made? That's possible. As I wrote I wanted to pay homage to a lot of my favorite scifi shows (you'll find references to X-Files, Star Trek, and Dr Who if you look for them), but my main concern was to write something different from what had gone before.
The Speroancora isn't organic, it's mechanical. Ei'Brai is connected to the ship digitally, however. There is a merging of mind and machine there. I want to explore that cyberpunk element in a future book a bit more. I have an idea for Ei'Brai to have a book of his own one day.
