What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Bobby Sanders I don't know if I'm qualified to give advice to aspiring writers. The only thing i have to tell you is stick to what you know. Do your research. I am a reader first and nothing gets my goat more than a writer trying to snow the reader with some facts that aren't correct. I don't put anything down on paper unless I know it to be true. I'm not talking about story, I'm talking about details. Places towns in the right place. Guns need to be period correct in a western. Don't say "Hot Water Heater" that's my pet peeve. You don't heat "Hot Water" It's already hot!
