I loved 44 Chapters about 4 Men so much I sent the audible to my husband. Still no luck :-) I'm listening to Skin now and keep wondering how much is true, how much fictionalized... percentage?

Ha! It's funny how many women try to share 44 Chapters with their partners. I'm over here trying to keep mine from reading it EVER.
It's hard to say how much of SKIN is true, because almost every scene has elements of truth and fiction in it. I tried to start with an event that actually happened. Then, as I wrote, I just let the characters speak to me. Most of the dialogue I made up, but some of I remembered word for word. Most of the scenarios actually happened, but a handful I completely made up for the sake of the story (like the junk yard scene). If I had to estimate, I would say SKIN is about 65%-75% true, but the fictionalized parts are very true to the characters, if that makes sense.

This is not really a question but rather a statement for you. I read both Skin and Speed in a matter of days! Couldn't put them down. I love your writing and I am in love with the characters! Can't wait to read more from you, I have to read 44 Chapters now while I wait for Star! Because I have to ask you a question, when will Star be out? Thanks!
