CrabbyPatty asked Laura Stone:

Just finished "And It Came to Pass" and really loved it! You mention that Joseph Smith sealed men together and while it appears Mormon historians have sanitized that to suggest more of an adoption than a same-sex marriage, there has GOT to be a great story waiting to be written about this ..... hint, hint, hint. (Was that subtle enough?) Are you planning to write more about Mormon history?

Laura Stone Ha! So subtle, omh(eck)... You know, there are real-life stories about men who did that very thing! (DR. Michael D. Quinn has an excellent book, Same-Sex Dynamics among Nineteenth-Century Americans: A MORMON EXAMPLE, that brings up some instances, in fact.) I do have a podcast where I talk about the temple, sexuality, LGBT issues all within the framework of the LDS church, Oh My Heck! if you're interested in more of a deep-dive. (It's on iTunes, my website, etc., and is 100% free.)

I'll say that writing this took a lot out of me as so much of it is based on personal experience, so I don't know if I'll write more novels about the church/religion. But I never say never! ;) Thank you for the question, and I'm so sorry the answer is so belated!
