Hi Kate, I am so pleased to have discovered your books. Although I have only read "The Beasts Garden" so far, I have two sitting on my bedside table to read. Having just completed an introduction to Australian literature, I am curious to know whether any Australian female authors or any Aust. authors for that matter have inspired you or you enjoy to read? Hi Carley, thanks so much for your question & my apologies in not answering earlier. I haven't been in to GoodReads for a while. I love Australian fiction & read a lot of it. Check out my reviews - I have heaps of Australian authors listed under the tag 'Australia' and also 'aww2017' etc (for Australian Women Writers).

Hello! I just finished The Wild Girl and just have to say how amazing it was. It was raw and dark, yet beautiful. After reading this and your final notes, I was wondering how long it took for you to develop and write this story. This book holds so many deep layers, which I assume was extremely difficult. How did you do it? Thank you for creating such lovely books. I hope to read much more from you. :)

Hello! I LOVED Bitter Greens, am currently reading the WIld Girl, and look forward to ordering the Beast's Garden. I am in love with fairy tale retellings as long as they are well-written, and yours are some of the best I have ever read. May I ask what you are working on now?
