When the Greatcoats is inevitably made into a series of movies (I would love this), who plays Falcio? I like Chris Pratt or John Simm and my wife likes Chris Hemsworth or Matt Damon. I think all four have the ability to play a man with great moral integrity along with the comedic moments. We both feel that HBO or any other huge network would be thrilled to make this as a follow up to GOT. Good luck.

I'd be, of course, delighted for the Greatcoats to become a film or television series. However while there's always talk of such things, talk is all it is until a deal is signed (actually, even that's just the first hurdle.)
Your choices for Falcio are interesting ones that I hadn't considered – strong actors all of them. Part of me really likes the idea of Martin Freeman as Falcio. He's such an outstanding actor and I've no doubt could pick up the physicality of it, and I think his sense of humour and pathos would bring the darker parts of the story to life. I'm also a fan of Tom Burke, but given he just wrapped up the Musketeers, I doubt he'd be looking for a similar role again.
Alas, right now any Greatcoats movies are all about crossed fingers and wishing on stars!

Finished Saint's Blood. I cannot wait to see what happens next. I definitely did not see The Blacksmith coming. Great stuff. I did have one question though. The types of dueling styles you described (Avertiere, etc), are those actual historical styles or just literary devices? I was on our High School fencing team long long ago so it piqued my interest and I couldn't find anything about them on the net

In Amazon, there's 2 versions of Queenslayer coming on May for Kindle. One is almost half the price of the other. Why is that? Read all 4 Greatcoats books in less than a week, a testament to my enjoyment of them & my ability to not sleep. I really loved the friendship between Falcio, Kest and Brasti- so well written! I’m already missing their voices in my head… although it is now quieter in there which is probably better for my sanity! You’ve mentioned they’ll be back- will that be fronting their own series again or as cameos in others?
