So in TNP Nere notices that Dai only sleeps for a few hours... how does he deal with that in safety harbor?

He goes off prowling on his own, sometimes for days at a time, which does cause some friction because the helper staff is used to keeping closer track of the Neptune kids. But Dai is trying hard to adapt to being a part of Safety Harbor. In Book 3, The Neptune Promise, his efforts are maybe not enough... you'll see!
