If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

David Putnam I would have to go to the world created by Joseph Wambaugh in the Blue Knight or the New Centurions. I profoundly miss my years in law enforcement and still dream about it all the time. In the Blue Knight and The New Centurions police work was still unadulterated, still in a purer form. Its one of the those situations where I might've been born in the wrong decade.
When I got there I'd enjoy working patrol, answering calls for service not knowing what each held. I'd Pull over cars with suspected criminals and play the game of trying to weasel them into jail.
I'd revel in the camaraderie of fellow patrolmen.
