Goodreads asked Phillip Davis:

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Phillip Davis This is a tough question! One of the things that is a real hallmark to me of good fiction is the depth and complexity of the world that I'm taken to. I have read mediocre stories that were still a pleasure to read because of the "world building" the author did. Personally, I'd love to visit Oz, Wonderland, or a galaxy far far away. And who wouldn't want to see Narnia or J.K. Rowling's version of England? I am fascinated by the word created by Rachel Caine in her Great Library series, though I'm not sure it sounds like a pleasant place to be. Arrakis from Frank Herbert's Dune holds the same intrigue. In short, create me a world different from my own, with its own mythology, its own cosmology, its own legends and history, and I'll gladly pay it a visit.
