It's just that I want to become a book editor and I would like to know which characteristics is an author normally looking for in an editor or if you could give me a tip or two... Thank you!

Kasie West Thank you so much for loving my books and reading them! That's probably the number one quality I look for in an editor: someone who loves my style of writing and connects to my stories and the way I tell them. And then someone who can analyze a story well and know where it might need work and how to fix pacing and plot issues. In other words, someone who can dissect a story and put it back together again. :)
