I have always written. Most of my work, however, has been as a historian writing exhibitions on Jewish related topics. Klara with a K is my first attempt at a work of fiction. I suppose Klara's story was always in the back of my mind. She is a composite of so many of the individuals I had the opportunity to interview in my work at the museum.
