Sorry for the long delay, Phillip. This Q&A feature is still pretty new and I keep forgetting to check it. Anyway, to answer your question, I have always considered myself a writer. My mom still has dozens of short stories I wrote as a kid, so telling stories has always been my passion.
Now, if you were to ask me when I knew I was an author, that would have been in 2011, after I published a short story and readers started slapping reviews on that puppy!

This little question thing is pretty nifty. Anyway, I was scrolling down and saw you were pretty far into 'The Troop' by Nick Cutter. I was walking around the store the other day with that in my hand, I had only read one review, it sounded pretty good, but it also sounded ...generic? For lack of a better work. What I'm asking is, what do you think of it so far? Is it worth the read?

Hi Adam; Was interested in making contact with you for several reasons. I like your recommendations on Natchez Burning which I'm thinking of reading. I assume that book is worthy of its 800 page length? I also like Stephen King and saw your list of favorite books.
