Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sherry Leclerc I've had the idea for my current book for more than twenty years. The idea was sparked by something I had learned in school. Originally, it was set in the "real world," or a version thereof. However, I have had to change the main premise over the years, as other books and movies came out with similar ideas. That's what you get when you have a great idea but ignore it for two decades, I guess. So now the setting is a fantasy realm. The main character has the same abilities as the main character I envisioned all those years ago, and there is still the good versus evil, but most other elements have changed.
