Hi Marylee. Quick question, what's the process for your creative endeavors? I always come up with the ending first, then beginning, and fill in the storyline.

Marylee MacDonald I love that idea of coming up with the ending first. I usually try to come up with the ending when I'm about a third of the way through the book. By then I will have a bit more understanding of my character's personality. It's only by putting a character into action or by facing the character with some kind of threat that I "see what they're made of."
