Having a book series, is it hard to let your characters go? I know you are writing another book based on The Lowcountry series. (Which thrilled me when I heard about it.) I have enjoyed these characters so much, that I am sad to see the series end.

I definitely get attached to some of my characters. But, I really enjoy hearing from readers to see which characters they like best or didn't and why. And it's so much fun to hear from readers who want a story line to continue. Readers have such great ideas! And it's a great compliment when there is a wave of support for additional books in a series. We'll see what the future holds about another book in The Lowcountry Summer series!
