My favorite fictional couple is Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. They are a handsome couple that I cannot think of one without the other.
The two create an everlasting and timeless couple, even though they have only been together since 1992. I am among the several generations that enjoy watching them.
They are both strong characters whose strength may have come from growing up without both parents. They are from different backgrounds, yet they trust each other without questioning.
They complement each other, will go through thick and thin together, believe in the some of the same things, and are devoted to each other’s causes. Their love for each other is enduring.
They have made a lasting impression for me and helped to inspire my childhood fascination with princesses where I would daydream and search my mind for answers to my questions that made sense to me at the time and as I matured my answers would broaden until I could not contain them any longer, and they became the plot for the story line of my book A Princess in Disguise.
