What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Autumn Doerr Don't give up. Keep writing and submitting. It may break your heart but you need thick skin to put yourself out there. I sent query letters to a lot of publishers and received beautifully written and kind rejections back. It actually encouraged me to keep going. You can always self publish as I did. It doesn't carry the stigma it once did and when you hit "publish" there's no feeling like it.
