Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

V.C. Buckley Hanami (Book 1) is my very first published book. It was a story that I intended to write just for my own enjoyment, but it came to life on its own. It started with a "What if" after witnessing someone being bullied. I imagined how the outcome would be for the bullies if the person they were harrassing happened to be someone dangerous and connected to the mob, and my imagination just took off from there.
