Hi Susan Whitall, I enjoyed your feature on Chris Bohjalian today. I am a great admirer of his work. From GoodReads I see you are a good daughter of Detroit. I am as well. You might have seen my essay about my family experiences with the 1967 rebellion/riot on Salon.com. My first book, however, is a historical social justice piece out of Ohio, forthcoming in 2018.
