How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jay Allan With great difficultly. Honestly, there are just days it won't come. Generally, I can write very quickly if it's coming to me, but sometimes I struggle all day to get 1,000 words. If it's really bad I step away for a few hours and come back to it. I often find that I have a good spurt after a bad day.
